Go me.

I haven’t been blogging this week because my husband has been filming some children’s music videos the past three days and I had the glamourous  job of crafts (carb) service. My whole life I’ve wanted to be an actress and have struggled to break my excessive carb consumption (binging) so this little job of craft services was a perfect  reminder of just how far I am from my goals. Wonderful for the self-esteem.  Actually, I had a really good time and I’m GRATEFUL for the work.

Crafts service entails making sure people don’t get grumpy on set or location because of empty tummies and low blood sugar.  This had to be done on a budget so it required a trip to Costco to buy about 775,000 grams of carbs.  The only good carbs in my two carts were grapes and a sad little platter of veggies. The rest crummy carbs. I told myself that once I got at the location and set everything up I would only eat the veggies and hummus. Yeah right. As soon as everyone left to go film and I was left to “watch over” the stuff, I finished off a bagel in 15 seconds flat. Go me. The second day, I forget to even bring the veggies. Go me. The third day… “It’s last day and I’ve already messed up.  I’ll get back on plan tomorrow.” Go me.

The Carbmobile.

The Carbmobile.

That is just some of the food.

“THE BIG BAG of mini pretzels.”

“THE BIG BAG of mini pretzels.”

A six pound bag of pretzels?  SCARY.  Who buys this stuff?  Oh yeah.  I could have knocked someone out with that bag maybe I should carry one around for self-defense.

Hugs and High Fives,
jenn

I'm so happy you stopped by my little corner of the web where I write about fitness, food, and amazing women I "meet". I live in California with my wonderful husband and two rambunctious boys. I'm a personal trainer and dreamer. I enjoy most things but some of my favorites are reading, acting, camping, cooking, music, writing, traveling, and being in the moment with my favorite people!
