Mismatched Russian Nesting Doll

11 weeks out at 125.  It’s the thighs once again.  Always the thighs. It’s so much fun being a mismatched Russian nesting doll. Humpf.

I’ve been agonizing for days on wether or not to post this picture.  Okay, so I don’t think I look bad.  (However, I did cut my head out for a reason.)  But honestly it’s slightly embarrassing to not have maintained since my October pictures. But that’s life.  And I’m all about being real.  Which brings me to this thought. I know it may seem like I want people to look at my pictures. I do have them sprawled across the top of my blog. But that is NOT the case.  So please be nice.  :) Because frankly, it’s somewhat humiliating. I’d much rather have only nice photoshopped pictures of myself looking my best (and maybe a tan) instead of what I looked like a year ago.

But I  know I am motived by people who change their bodies through hard work and discipline not the genetically gifted (I’m not) or the photoshopped.  So there you are 11 weeks out from my competition and 9.5 pounds to go.  Americans just love before and after pictures.

xoxo

Are you kidding me? Just stop it. You look so great. I think everyone loves before and afters. Specially if they are in the before state, or have slipped.

Love you…keep up the good work!

You look fantastic Jenn and should be so proud of what you have accomplished, 9.5 lbs. Or not. I’m so proud of you and jealuos of your fabulous abs (my problem area).

You are waaay too hard on yourself. You looks fantastic!!!! and *still* have 11 weeks. Isn’t it totally normal to be “off-season?” so you wouldn’t be exactly where you were after the last comp?

My thighs are my hardest part to shift so I feel for ya there. My last 10 vanity pounds are 70% upper thigh! lol

Thanks for posting pics – us Americans *do* love before and afters 😉

You should look at those photos and feel a great deal of pride. Goes to show you how hard work and determination pays off. It also should remind you that YOU did it. Yes,and if you wanted to..you could do it again:)

I think you look wonderful. Good luck on the next few weeks. You did it once you can do it again. You are brave doing a before and after picture. Now that is confidence at its best and encouragement for others.

I’d give my eye teeth to have abs like that 11 weeks out….taks me AT leat 6 weeks to get to that point.
    Keep up the good work!

Thanks Monika! Notice I don’t have a picture of my backside. That takes me about 6 months to get in shape and even then it still needs work!! My competition is June 27th.

    Jen-
You look great! You are way too hard on yourself. I am taking pic in a week- finish of Challege 6 for me- which totally fizzled d/t injuries. But no reason I could not have gotten abs if I had worked hard at diet….but I did not. I was thinking – why even bother to take pics at end of this challenge- but I will because 1) it keeps me accountable 2) I am hoping that I will still look a whole lot better than my initial start pic a year and a half ago.

You look so good now- I can’t wait to see you when your comp arrives.

Sal – Sorry about your injuries. I like your attitude and I’m sure you still look better than when you started! Thanks for the kind words! I do tend to me hard on myself. I’m just frustrated that I Iet my eating get out of control and gain back some of the weight. But hey that’s life! Besides I sort of like the challenge of working it off!

Ashamedly…what I noticed most was the artwork on the door behind you…it appears as though you have one armpit unshaved.

And the body??? HOT!!! I seriously would kill to look a fraction of that toned for summer. I’m glad you shared the pics….it really does something when you put it out there for people to see. Like…accepting yourself. Loving yourself because you are honest, and REAL. I love that about you.

Steph – LMAO!!!!! That would be some serious armpit hair!!!! It sort of looks like a cartoon cloud of “smell”. Ick!

Once again thanks for the kind words. “Hot” that makes me laugh but thank you. :) I’m working with the genes I got dealt. There’s a few cards I’d like to give back and there’s a few cards it would have been nice to have 😉 but oh well. Doing the best I can.

You are coming along nicely.. we are always hardest on ourselves… but for good reason! You look great, and once you “tan out of a can” it will help your definition and hide what is easily seen now.

You have several weeks to go, keep your head up and drive on chick! Best of luck!
