Day 1

The first days on a new plan are always the easiest. I’m full of excitement, energy, and the discipline is easy.

I went to the store to buy groceries. I spent about and hour reading the labels of all the cereals. My mission to find the one with the highest fiber and protein but lower in calories and fat. I finally found one , Kashi Go Lean. I also stocked up on cottage cheese and Greek style yogurt.  I know will probably have to have to cut these things out in a few months.  Some people cut them out sooner but I’m competing to lose and I know I won’t lose if my diet is too strict too soon.  So for now they are in.

Today, I wasn’t hungry at all. I did spend a good deal of time out in the sun. Maybe that’s why? I went to a pool party for my son’s second grade class. I have to confess I had my swimsuit on under my clothes with intentions on getting in the water.  But in the end I couldn’t muster the courage to bare my thick thighs. I almost did because THERE IS a part of me that says screw it I don’t care what anyone thinks. But in the end my fat cells won and I stayed covered up.

I’m going to bed early. Need to get my 8 hours.  Rest = Recovery

Hugs and High Fives
Jenn

About jennincat

I'm so happy you stopped by my little corner of the web where I write about fitness, food, and amazing women I "meet". I live in California with my wonderful husband and two rambunctious boys. I'm a personal trainer and dreamer. I enjoy most things but some of my favorites are reading, acting, camping, cooking, music, writing, traveling, and being in the moment with my favorite people! You can read more about me here! I hope you stop by often!
