Fluffy Friday: Six pack abs may save your life.

My mom sent me this article today.  Read it, it’s cool!

Yet another reason to lift weights and build muscle.  Nooooo…not so you can paraglide, silly, so you body is better able to withstand trauma in the event of an accident.

Her life-saving-abs are not the only thing that strikes me.  She is 47 and paragliding.  Go girl!! That takes some serious courage or lack of sense.  However you look at it, she is apparently in shape.  I want to be that fit and half that brave when I’m 47.

Have a great weekend.

Hugs and High Fives,
jenn

About jennincat

I'm so happy you stopped by my little corner of the web where I write about fitness, food, and amazing women I "meet". I live in California with my wonderful husband and two rambunctious boys. I'm a personal trainer and dreamer. I enjoy most things but some of my favorites are reading, acting, camping, cooking, music, writing, traveling, and being in the moment with my favorite people! You can read more about me here! I hope you stop by often!

This made me laugh….You are talking about a woman that is ONLY 47 like she’s an old lady! I’m 51. I lift, I eat right, I do things that women my age don’t do! I refuse to age gracefully, I’m going kicking and screaming! Great post!

Shari – You’re RIGHT. She is young!!!! I should have said 47 years young. Paragliding just seems like something for someone 20 years old (or plain crazy)!! I can’t imagine doing it. I LOVE your attitude!!!

Thanks for the tips on credit reaipr on this particular blog. The thing I would tell people should be to give up this mentality they can buy now and fork out later. Being a society we all tend to do that for many things. This includes holidays, furniture, and also items we’d like. However, you must separate the wants from the needs. When you are working to raise your credit score you really have to make some trade-offs. For example you are able to shop online to save cash or you can check out second hand shops instead of high priced department stores for clothing.
