“Fail”

Yesterday, I was making grilled cheeses for my boys when I got distracted had to take care of something very important.

I left the kitchen for a moment and returned to something sitting on top of the grilled cheeses.

What the…?

Upon closer inspection.

“Fail”

Apparently, the grilled cheeses got too crispy for Mr. Smarty Pants Thing 1.

I’m not sure if I failed on the grilled cheeses

or teaching kitchen safety

(or teaching manners)

(or by imparting my sarcastic sense of humor upon my child)

Have a great weekend!

Hugs and High Fives,
Jenn

I'm so happy you stopped by my little corner of the web where I write about fitness, food, and amazing women I "meet". I live in California with my wonderful husband and two rambunctious boys. I'm a personal trainer and dreamer. I enjoy most things but some of my favorites are reading, acting, camping, cooking, music, writing, traveling, and being in the moment with my favorite people! YES! The burner was going! I’m lucky he didn’t start a fire. Yeesh. Oh and it was a spelling test but it had already been recorded.

Haha, that is pretty hilarious. My three-and-a-half year old niece has been known to say “fail!” when her little sister falls down or something like that. It’s my brother-in-law’s own fault, he says “fail!” quite a lot himself. Well, really it’s “FAY-ull” — kind of reminds me of how my dad used to say he knew he was in trouble when we girls made “Dad” into a three-syllable word, lol.

Ohhhh, your son was sassing you! I definitely took for granted my mom cooking for me all the time when I was yonger. I would kill to just be able to hang on the couch or lounging around and have a meal already waiting for me.

If it makes you feel better, I work as a private chef for a family with three kids. I made healthy muffins for them with protein powder and you know how they expressed their feelings about it??? they left the muffing and ate the sprinkles. Sprinkle-less cupcakes=fail!

HAHA!!!! I have “imparted” the same sense of humor onto my 3 kids. Mostly, it’s because I don’t want them to think Mommy and Daddy are weird and laugh at ramdom things, or complain about housework as “being repressed.”
This is classic! I love it!
