“Feel better, look better, so you can live longer.”

Jack Lalanne, a man ahead of his time.

I just saw this video for the first time a few days ago.  If you haven’t seen it yet it’s really worth watching. He is living evidence on what a healhty active lifestyle can do.  Watching this video and then going to his website, JackLanne.com, convinces me, a recovering sugar addict, more than ever of the evils of refined sugar (Said in my best villain voice, ha ha ha.).  At 94 years old it’s obvious that this is a man who has walked and is walking his talk.  Inspiring.

About jennincat

I'm so happy you stopped by my little corner of the web where I write about fitness, food, and amazing women I "meet". I live in California with my wonderful husband and two rambunctious boys. I'm a personal trainer and dreamer. I enjoy most things but some of my favorites are reading, acting, camping, cooking, music, writing, traveling, and being in the moment with my favorite people! You can read more about me here! I hope you stop by often!

Lurking here again….I am also a big fan of Jack- I read somewhere that he used to eat lots of junk when he was a teenager and then —he totally gave it up. I think he eats a ton of vegetables from what I have read- and not sure, but I believe egg whites- maybe not meat?? He really was ahead of his time. I think the addiction thing is correct too. Today was free day for me and once I start in with the first thing that is sugar laden- — it is all down hill. Well, back on the wagon tomorrow. hope the camping trip is going well. Thanks Jen!

This show was in the ’50’s…if sugar was a problem then….it’s 10 times worse now.
