But sometimes it&#039;s honestly really hard to get myself to do it... i also enjoy steady state hikes! :) but I know that lots of hiit actually prepared me for hours of intense hiking earlier this year. So, yes, hiit works, but i always fear it... Love this series!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Learning this lesson about cardio has probably been the most life-changing fitness discovery I&#039;ve ever made. I&#039;d even go so far as to say that when I do add in lots of steady state cardio it becomes harder for me to lose weight/body fat. One of the first things I do when I need to go down a bit is amp up the HIIT. The only downside is that it really really sucks in that moment. I&#039;ve never hated anything as bad as I have hated Tabatas!]]></description>

But I like being able to sit on my bike for an hour and read while working out too.  I know I know, not much of a workout.  Its all in my head.]]></description>
